Bio-Physical Sciences Building in East Lansing, Michigan. Just a few yards
shorter than a football field, the 6-storey building is clad with
factory-glazed unitized Fulwal 183. Inward and outward-turning corners are
covered with extensive aluminum cladding, as are glazed bridges which
connect different wings and adjacent campus buildings. Architect: SHG
Incorporated Columbia Center Tower B, Troy, MI. 15-storey granite-clad building features completely custom "curtainwall" into punched openings. All frames shipped completely pre-glazed and capped, installed with custom anchors and dead-load supports. Main entrances enclosed by huge Fulwal 183 frames with wagon-wheel radiused top. Architect: Minoru Yamasaki Associates Providence Medical Center Office Building in Novi, Michigan. Extensive silicone-set 4000-SG windows wrap the building. Windows incorporate venetian blinds, protected by glazed "sull-sashes", which swing in for cleaning. Locks restrict general access to the blinds, which are adjusted by discrete controls. Fulwal curtainwall complements building entrances. East elevation is a dramatic radial sweep of 2 and 4-sided structurally glazed Fulwal SSG. Unique sloped-top square-sided bay windows have curtainwall skeleton, awning vents, louvers, and are clad with 1/8" welded formed aluminum. Units were shipped to site completely assembled, and fastened to heavy-duty structural steel anchors.
